| Also known as Steve Fanagan, Old Man Polka is a Dublin based musician, and former frontman of Deadman's Flats. Since the bands demise, Steve has launched himself as a solo artist, releasing his debut album By way of to widespread critical acclaim. He will be following this album up with There is hope, recorded & mixed in April 2001 by Steve Albini at his electrical audio studios over two days. The recording features members of dublin band Joan of Arse, The Dudley Corporation & The Chicago based Songs:ohia. It is released on May 23rd on Steve's own mangomusic label. |
