| Mike Glennon is a Dublin based musician who fronts the band the Situations. Influences include The Stooges, Marvin Gaye, Hank Williams, Nina Simone, The Beatles, The Byrds & The Band. Glennon has honed his skills as a performer & songwriter in numerous bands. He has recently formed a new band named Long Lost Brother. Augmenting the standard bass, drums and guitar line-up with instruments such as banjo, vintage synths and melodica the 4 piece blend elements of country, punk and electronica coming over something like a cross between the Ramones and the Burrito Brothers. |
