Leo O'Kelly has been described as "the recluse of Irish rock music". This is somewhat of a misnomer when you concider that the man has been gigging from New York to Hong Kong in the last few years, and virtually everywhere in between!

Leo is probably best known for his work with Tir Na nOg alongside Sonny Condell. They recorded several successful and highly acclaimed albums on the Chrysalis label. In the 60's, Leo played in the Emmett Spiceland with Donal Lunney, Psychedelic Carlow Band, "The Word", and even the "Tropical Showband"! All of which goes some way to explain the eclecticism of his vibrant live gigs.
