| Ian Whitty is a 26 year old songwriter from Killarney in the southwest of Ireland. Ian's songs are characterized by a lyrically engaging and melodic contemporary folk sound that has led him to be identified as a strong new voice in Irish songwriting. Ian has built a steady following in Ireland where he has been performing nationwide for over three years now. Last year he completed his first tour of America's East Coast. In recent times Ian has performed alongside such acclaimed acts as The Frames, Josh Ritter, Katel Keinig and Mundy to name but a few. |
